Jeans Day

Casual For a Cause

Friends of Dane St Playground is proud to be a part of North Shore Bank's Employee Jeans Day Program. Each month, employees designate a different non-profit organization, and in exchange for a $5 donation, they are allowed to wear jeans each Friday. The accumulated funds are then donated to the chosen organization at the end of each month. The organization chosen for the month of February is Friends of Dane St Playground! Thank you Julie at the North Beverly branch for nominating us!

Polar Express now an annual holiday tradition!

We are excited to announce that due to overwhelming requests the showing of the Polar Express will now be an annual holiday tradition!!! This event is made possible with the help from Mr. & Mrs. Van Allsburg (the author himself!!!), The Cabot Performing Arts Center, Mortgage Network and The Isabella Rose Marino Endowment Fund. This year's showing will benefit the family series at The Cabot & the Dane Street playground. We hope to see you there!

This is going to be a fantastic day of holiday celebrations! There will be treats for the kids, visits with Santa, a book signing with "Polar Express" author Chris Van Allsburg, raffles and this amazing movie on the big screen!

The festivities run from 1-4 and you'll be home in time for the Pats 4:25 kickoff!!

Advanced tickets are recommended as last year's event sold out fast and this year will too!! This event benefits the Friends of Dane Street Playground and the Cabot Family Series programming.

A Great Loss,
Brings us Great Progress

As many of you may know, we recently lost Rich's dad and Luke and Bella's papa, Leo Marino. It comes with great joy to announce that Papa left a $10,000 donation to the playground, in honor of his granddaughter Bella. He is so very missed and we cannot wait to fulfill his wish to see the playground built in memory of Bella!
